Cleaning the Airform The Airform — Over time, our not-so-clean environment makes washing the Airform a necessity. Like washing a car — Wearing smooth or soft-soled shoes, workers can wash a dome as they would a big car, by soaping an area first, then rinsing it off. The process — * Use long ladder to get to dome’s top. Have someone hold ladder during the climb. Wear soft-soled shoes. Using long-handled brush or mop and a cleaning agent, scrub Airform’s top. Rinse with water hose. Standing at ground level, use long-handled brush to scrub Airform’s sides. Rinse with water hose. Large domes — Workers washing large domes should be tied to safety lines. Safety first! — It is extremely important to use all safety precautions. We recommend not working alone, tying off with a proper climbing harness and safety ropes, using ladders and long-handled cleaning tools. Worth the effort! — A clean Airform will continue to look good and wear well.
