The Monolithic EHP 1500 Peristaltic Carrousel Pump is an excellent, small line electric hydraulic shotcrete pump for stuccos and concrete. It is made from the toughest materials available at an affordable price. The unit is designed for maximum capacity and minimum maintenance.
The goal of Monolithic Equipment Manufacturing is to design and create equipment and supplies that make dome building easier. Our new Vibrating Screen definitely makes concrete mixing and spraying much smoother.
“The Monolithic Portable Mixer, a user-friendly, low maintenance, portable concrete mixer is now available to distributors,” says Melinda South, Manager, Equipment Division.
After evaluation for technical advances, Construction Equipment Magazine nominated more than 100 products to be awarded the “Top 100 Products Award for 2002,” including the Monolithic Portable Concrete Mixer.
We didn’t see peristaltic concrete pumps for quite a number of years. But now they’re back and gaining in popularity. The newest peristaltic hoses are constructed of open-cell polyurethane, a material that has many applications, including polyurethane springs for shearers and tongs. One manufacturer claims, that before needing replacement, tongs with polyurethane springs will run five times longer than those with steel springs.
The new Monolithic® concrete mixer, available through Monolithic Equipment Manufacturing, is totally redefining what a so-called "portable concrete mixer” can do.
Monolithic Equipment Manufacturing introduces an improved version of its popular, gas-powered, concrete and shotcrete pump. This lightweight concrete pump is run by a highly-reliable Honda power pack. It’s a sturdy workhorse made better with the added improvement of a direct drive to the carousel.
All concrete pumps are not created equal! But they play a very important – you might say “integral” – part in Monolithic Dome construction. Consequently, in this section we include articles that present a very brief history of concrete pumps, the advantages and disadvantages of peristaltic pumps and hoses, and what Monolithic recommends based on years of experience in using concrete pumps.
The Monolithic Portable Concrete Mixer brings the term “portable concrete mixer” to a whole new level. All shotcrete companies, whether they build Monolithic Domes or not, should own a Monolithic Portable Mixer. Even on large jobs that are serviced by ready-mix trucks, it is amazing how helpful it is to have a Monolithic Portable Mixer attachment on a skid-steer.
Using equipment from a square world to build round buildings, this is the battle we have to fight when scaffolding a dome building. That is why we developed the Paxis Scaffold. The Paxis scaffolds unmatched portability, can be carried though the airlock into the building by two men, then assembled to build almost any size dome. The Paxis scaffolds are also the easiest scaffold to use, with the secure feeling that it provides while working and spraying, to the electric power that keeps men from breathing fumes in the enclosed environment.
Affordable, easy to maintain, portable, these are just a few words to describe the advantages of our peristaltic concrete pumps. We have designed three different models of our concrete pump, specifically for use in the dome building industry.
This is our two inch concrete pump. It features a 20 HP Honda gas engine, a hydraulic cooling system, a direct drive gear box system, and a pump speed of up to 6 yards per hour.

“We’re launching a new program,” Melinda South, Equipment Division Manager announced. The "Monolithic Portable Concrete Mixer, once available only for purchase, can now be rented.
The Monolithic Portable Concrete Mixer does the hard work for you. It is an attachment for a skid-steer or other front-end loader, so it is totally mobile. And it’s self-loading, so sand and gravel do not need to be hand shoveled. It mixes extremely quickly and is easy to maintain.
Problem: Scaffold an 88 foot dome that has only 4 36″ standard doors?
Solution: Expand our already proven Polar Scaffold to fit that size of a dome.
