Scared into Going Monolithic!

The Watts Monolithic Dome Home — Harrilyn and Rudy built their dome home 21 miles south of Chipley, Florida in tornado country.

Master Bath — It includes a spacious walk-in closet.

Family Area — The Watts have a living area of 2600 feet in their 50-foot diameter Monolithic Dome.

Kitchen — Next to the dome-home, the Watts have a 20-foot diameter utility dome that connects to a 30-foot diameter garage.

Game Area — Rudy and Harrilyn decided on a Monolithic Dome after reading about its benefits on the Internet and then talking with the pros at MDI.

Master Bedroom — In addition to the domes they already have, the Watts are now looking into designing and building a Monolithic Dome patio area.

Guest Bedroom — The Watts are very pleased with the internal temperature their Monolithic Domes maintain. They keep their thermostat at 78 and find that comfortable.

Living Area — In the summer, the Watts keep their windows closed and their blinds down. In the winter, they raise the blinds so the sun can heat the inside of the dome.
